I am looking for a way to look up irish songs, that are sung without accompanying instruments. Typically, the lyrics rhyme more than a usual song.

Is there a name for irish music that is sung Acappella ?
not sure what it would be called, but try using http://pandora.com/ and go to the "Create a New Station" then put the name of the song or the group you mention, and it will build a playlist of similar songs and groups.
You might also try Celtic A Cappella in your search
