Is Ni谩mh Mary Raferty a strong Irish name....?
oh ye definitely niamh is a very common irish name
Reply:niamh is an irish name and im sure raferty is an irish name too but rafferty may be the more popular spellin(i duno-maybe maybe not) The name Rafferty in Ireland is derived from the native Gaelic O'Raithbheartaigh Sept that was located in Counties Tyrone and Louth and where the majority of descendants still hail from. The name is taken from Gaelic words that translate as 'prosperity wielder'. n lotsa irish lassies have the name mary..3 strong irish names u should be proud of that :-)
Reply:Well, your first name is one of those things that are pronounced nothing like the way they are spelt, so you're either Irish or dyslexic.
Reply:The only way you could make it more Irish is by marrying someone called Eamonn Murphy and having a double-barrelled surname
Reply:Yes but we don't spell N铆amh with a f谩da on the 'a'. Well if you didn't grow up here you're not Irish but your heritage probably is
Reply:it sounds african american
