What is the correct name for an Irish walking stick(cane)? I know it's pronounced "she-lay-lee"?

I know it's pronounced "she-lay-lee" with the emphasis on the second syllable, but I don't know the correect spelling. Specifically, I'm looking for the words to an Irish song called: "The Same Old "She-Lay-Lee". Can you help me?

Its shillelagh.

THE SAME OLD SHILLELAGH

Verse 1:

Fifty years ago me father left old Erin鈥檚 shore

He landed with shillelagh in hand

And divil a fair-thee more

He got a job and then a wife

And then a family

But up he dies

and leaves his old
