Is Cullen an Irish name?

Bill Cullen from the old show To Tell the Truth was Irish.

Is Cullen an Irish name?
Its Scottish

''Cullen Surname Origin

Locality. From the town of Cullen, in Banffshire, Scotland. The derivation is uncertain. It may be from Cuillean, holly, a place of holly-trees; or Cullin, the place at the neck of the lake, from Cul, a neck, the back of any thing, and lin, a lake, a pond."

From what I recall, the Cullen clan was closely associated with the Stuarts, being one of the clans who supported and defended them through history.
Reply:Oh haha, I thought you were referring to the Cullens from Twilight...

But I think dingo60 is right, it's Scottish. I looked up the Cullen coat of arms the other day and it said it was originally Scottish.
