What is the Irish name for Fireman?

don't know about Irish, but Scots Gaelic is "fear-theine".

There was a popular kids programme in the UK called "Fireman Sam.'' In Gaelic he became "Sam Smalaidh" or "Smokey Sam.'' And, when they translated "Danger Mouse" into Gaelic, he became "Donny Murdo" just because that was a name that fitted with the DM on his superhero outfit.

What is the Irish name for Fireman?
Here in County Antrim, we would call him a "Fireman". LOL
Reply:Kerry? John Kerry (real name purported to be Kohn) is sometimes called "The Fireman".
