Reply:Logan is indeed an Irish/Gaelic name. My 9 month old grandson's name is Logan and his middle name is Lorne (Scottish) It is also the name of a beautiful tree. We also have another grandson on the way and I think his name will be Liam (nothing to do with alliteration) Happy parenting!

Reply:Logan sounds Irish. My sister in law is from Ireland and her brothers names were Noel and Seamus and Declan was a nephew. Rory is also Irish. Liam is a stong name. Garret is another. I like Kieran myself. Colin is another possibility or just plain Cole. Then there's Padric ( old world spelling of Patrick ) or Brendan. I'm sure there's a web site for Irish names also. Good Luck. I'm sure he will live up to whatever name you choose. How about checking out names in Irish History.
