Stephanie is a French feminine form of the name Stephen. In Irish, Stephen is St铆of谩n (SHTEE fawn). There is no feminine equivalent in Irish, but you could make a modern one by adding "铆n": St铆of谩in铆n (SHTEE fawn een) or perhaps St铆f铆n? (SHTEE feen)--although the second one looks a little strange. An older Irish form of Stephen is Stiana (SHEE uh na), perhaps you could use this as the base to form a feminine name: Stiain铆n (SHTEE uh neen)--that's kind of pretty!
