What means "in liquidation" when added to an (Irish) company name?

What does the designation "in liquidation" mean? I was thinking that it would mean that they are dissolving the company, selling everything and stopping all their business. However, the rest of the site seems to tell that they are doing business as usual.

It means that it is going out of business. Sometimes it will sayv product liquidation. That means the product is being discontinued.
