Irish name Orlaith. How is it pronounced?
Well somebody probably spelt and you miss heard it.
The "t" was probably a "g" because I've never heard that before
The name "Orlaigh" is pronounced orla
Reply:ore-la
Reply:Correctly in Irish it is "脫rlaith" The little mark over the 脫 lenghtens the vowel. In Ireland we pronounce it Ore-Loh which ever way it is spelt or whichever language we are using. I have never heard it pronounced Or-Lah except by skangers and scobies
